Boundaries Coaching

Boundary work at Elizabeth Buhler Coaching is designed for individuals who feel overextended, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns of over-giving, people-pleasing, or conflict avoidance—despite knowing something needs to change.

Many people understand the concept of boundaries, but struggle to implement them in real life. They may feel guilt when saying no, fear damaging relationships, or find themselves repeatedly pulled back into the same dynamics.

Boundary work here goes beyond learning what to say. It focuses on developing the internal stability required to hold boundaries consistently—without escalation, shutdown, or second-guessing.

I help people develop healthy boundaries and break co-dependent patterns so they can stay connected without losing themselves.

What We Work on Together

  • Identifying co-dependent and over-functioning patterns

  • Understanding emotional responsibility vs. self-responsibility

  • Boundary clarity (emotional, relational, time, energy)

  • Guilt, fear, and nervous-system responses to boundary setting

  • Communication that is clear, calm, and respectful

  • Rebuilding self-trust and internal authority

  • Creating healthier relational dynamics without disengagement
